Description of Product: Chimney Extension for SNDOAS Range Hood Series GD17 and GD24, designed for 10' ceilings, made of Stainless Steel with a Black Painted finish (Upper Piece only in Black color).

Thank you for selecting the Chimney Extension for SNDOAS Range Hood Series GD17 and GD24. To ensure optimal efficiency, the range hood should be positioned between 24 to 30 inches above the cooktop. Typically, the range hood comes with two 15.5 inch chimneys, suitable for ceilings ranging from 7.5 to 8.5 feet, perfect for standard kitchen use.

For higher ceilings, you have the option to choose the 31.5 inch chimney extension. This extension can be attached to the original lower chimney of the range hood, resulting in a total chimney height of 47 inches, suitable for ceilings between 9 to 10 feet.

Please note: The mounting bracket and hardware are not included with the extension. You can utilize the original bracket and hardware from your SNDOAS range hood since the extension only replaces the upper chimney while retaining the lower pipe.

The product dimensions are 8" (W) x 6.7" (D) x 31.5" (H), ideal for both ducted and non-ducted installations in 9 to 10-foot ceilings. The material used is Stainless Steel with a Black Painted finish.

It's important to mention that the extension is slightly smaller than the lower chimney, allowing it to be inserted into the lower chimney to adjust the height, with a maximum chimney height of 47 inches.
