How to Measure Your Sink for the Perfect Grid Fit Where Does the Grid Sit? Our sink protector has a height of 1", meaning it sits about 1" above the sink bottom. It is crucial to measure your sink's dimensions at this height.

Sink Bottom Length Measure carefully from left to right at the level of 1" above the sink bottom. Ensure that the grid you choose is approximately 1/2" smaller than your measurement to prevent the grid edge from touching your sink.

Sink Bottom Width Measure carefully from top to bottom at the level of 1" above the sink bottom. Make sure the width of the grid is about 1/2" less than your measurement to avoid the grid edge touching your sink.

Kitchen Sink Considerations Most kitchen sinks have three types of drain locations: centered drain, rear drain, or side drain. Ensure that the grid you choose matches the drain location of your sink.

Additionally, kitchen sinks have varying corner radius. Select a grid with the same corner radius as your sink to ensure a proper fit.
